How do I activate an alert?

  • Step 1: Login in to Ecom Personal Online Banking at www.abtbank.com.
  • Step 2: Locate the "Messages" section just below the Welcome message.
  • Step 3: Click on the the Category of Alert you want to activate, Checking, Savings, Certificate of Deposit, or Loans.
  • Step 4: Click on "Setup New Alert".
  • Step 5: Select a Category and then a Type from the dropdown lists.
  • Step 6: Fill out the appropriate information in the form. Select "email" to receive an email or "online" to view the alert in online banking To use SMS Text Messaging please click here. Click "Finish" to complete the activation.
  • That's it! You can activate as many or as few alerts as you would like.

  • Step 2: Locate the "Messages" section just below the Welcome message.
  • Step 3: Click the Category of the Alert you want to view, Checking, Savings, Certificate of Deposit, or Loans.
  • Step 4: Click the "Delete" icon next to the alert you want to delete.

How can I change my email address on an alert?

  • Step 2: Locate the "Messages" section just below the Welcome message.
  • Step 3: Click the Category of the Alert you want to view, Checking, Savings, Certificate of Deposit, or Loans.
  • Step 4: Click the "Edit" icon to change the Alert including the email address

Can I get a Text Message instead of an email?

    You can receive a text message by selecting the "Email" option and following the steps here.

How long is my alert valid?

    Most of the Alerts are valid for 180 days. If the alert hasn't happened in that time then they will expire. If the event does happen then the timer starts over at 180 days. Some of the events don't automatically renew such as the "Specific Check Alert". For a complete listing of all the alerts available as well as their expiration times please click here.

How quickly will I receive my alert?

    Most of the alerts will be sent out daily. Some of the alerts are specified as hourly, Which means the system checks the alert status every hour. If the event has happened you will receive notification within an hour for those alerts. To see a complete list of alerts and their timeframes please click here.
